Episode 47 - West Chester University Athletic Training Alumni Chapter

This past summer, the PATS podcast had the opportunity to sit down with Dr. Katherine Morrison, current professor and chairperson at West Chester University, and Jeff Frechette, who spent 37 years as the Head Athletic Trainer at Dartmouth College. Along with the help of many others, Jeff and Katie have been instrumental in helping launch the West Chester University Athletic Training Alumni Chapter. Episode 46 Rennie Sacco MEd., AT-RET

Who is else is ready for the start of college football?!?! During the PATS symposium this past June, Jason had the honor of sitting down with Rennie Sacco Med, AT-RET.  Rennie began at Kutztown University in 1985 as the Head Athletic Trainer and enjoyed a remarkable 37 year career, where he worked with not only the university’s football team, but all of the varsity sports on campus.  He was later appointed to the role of Director of Sports Medicine Services before he retired in June of 2022.  At the symposium, Rennie's tireless efforts and contributions to the profession of athletic training was honored, as he received the 2023 PATS Service Award.

Episode 45 - Lucas Bianco

The PATS podcast had the opportunity to chat with Lucas Bianco, DAT, LAT, ATC, CSCS, Lead Athletic Trainer at Alvernia University.  Hear about his journey through the profession, which has included some unique stops in both the traditional and non-traditional settings.  He also provides some advice for the future athletic trainers.
